Extraordinarily expensive despite the small portions, The Moonlit Gate is one of the few restaurants in New Sumatra that has a dress code in order to be able to get in. It's small, quiet, and works hard to keep an exclusive clientele.

A restaurant that tries to make fanciness accessible to everyone, the atmosphere is nice, the food is pretty good, but it's definitely trying way too hard to be high class.

The food is quick and cheap, but a bit low quality. While there is a seating area, most people buy their food to go.

The largest grocery store in all of New Sumatra. It doesn't sell any specialty food, but it has a wide enough variety that people can find just about anything they're looking for here. As long as it's not caviar or goose eggs.

A combined bookstore and cafe that prides itself on its atmosphere. It also hosts a few book clubs.

This store is considered a space for artists. It sells a variety of art supplies, mostly for traditional art but includes a few digital art supplies, and has space for people to buy and sell finished works including both paintings and sculptures.

Heart's Desire sells a variety of fancy, overpriced soaps, shampoos, and perfumes. It gets plenty of legitimate business, but behind the scenes it's run by the Mafia to get around the change to a digital currency.

A high class clothing store with clothing far too expensive and covered in far too many precious stones to be reasonable. Mostly sells fancy dresses, but also has an area for nice suits.

As much of a club as it is a store, Seeds n' Things is one of the few places that sells gardening supplies to gardening enthusiasts. Apartments don't have room for more than a couple of pots, but some people enjoy gardening enough to do it anyway.
